While Bark was staying at our house, I tried to get a few pictures of him.  Were you aware that puppies don’t sit still?  Somehow I had forgotten this key factor.  Trying to take a picture of a puppy without a flash in low light is about impossible.  I ended up with tons of these…

See the blurry thing in the lower right corner?  Yeah, that is the puppy.  The puppy who won’t stay still.  The puppy who liked to torment old man Servo.

Sidenote:  We discovered something interesting about Servo this weekend.  He only liked to play with Bark if it was outside.  I would watch those two take turns chasing each other around the backyard, but once we got inside Servo had a no touchy zone.  Servo acted like a big baby every time Bark even walked by.  Servo has personal space issues.  Meaning he demands you respect his, but he doesn’t care a thing about your own.

In other weekend news, Boomer Sooner!  OU will be playing in the National Championship game January 8.  Servo and I watched the Big 12 Championship Saturday night.  It was quite a game (if you are an OU fan!).

That would be Servo invading my personal space.  Don’t tell him he is not a lap dog, I think the news would crush him. 

B and I put up Christmas lights, set up the Christmas tree and pulled out all our decorations.  I am almost finished so expect pictures on day this week!  Now that the house feels like Christmas, I am really ready to start cooking and shopping and singing carols!

Since neither of us had a vested interest in the Super Bowl this year, we decided to make it interesting with a friendly bet.  I took the Giants and B took the Patriots.  The wager was loser is in charge of dinner for a week!  I WON!  No worrying about dinner this week.  I picked a good time too because we have no groceries and our entire kitchen is covered in painting supplies. 

B informed me this morning that tonight we are having leftover pizza from our dinner last night.  Acceptable this time B, but tomorrow night, I expect a home cooked meal!

Back to Saturday night, we went to our friend Will’s house to watch the game.  Will is a great cook and made some awesome fajitas.  I took a yummy seven layer dip over.  I was pretty proud of my dish, even though it was the easiest thing to make.  It turned out so pretty!  See:

Will also tried out a new drink on us.  It’s called Mistletoe.  B called it Koolaid with a punch.  I recommend this drink for holiday parties!  Here is the recipe:

Juice of half a lime
1 1/2 oz Rum
1/2 oz grenadine
top with ginger ale

Does it not look yummy!

Festive right?  Too bad it’s freezing and windy outside today.  The outside light will have to wait.

Tonight is the Big 12 Championship, OU vs. Missouri.  We will of course be routing for OU.  B’s Dad called this morning to say he will be routing for OU as well.  If Missouri loses then his team will be going to the National Championship.  Should be a good game.  Boomer Sooner!
