Gotta love the blinding headache that comes along with such a ridiculous amount of perfume. I haven't heard much about the sense of smell going for older people as much as sight and hearing, but maybe she couldn't smell herself so she just kept applying and applying... That’s the worst. I have a very sensitive nose and that "bathed in cheap cologne/perfume" kills me. I especially hate it when I on the elliptical at the gym and then someone comes up and gets on the machine next to me half way through my time and is drenched in cologne (or perfume there are women that are guilty of this at the gym) IT kills me, it takes everything in me to not puke while working out. seriously I agree with you "a little dab will do ya" hope you are feeling better soon and that this cough goes away quickly. oh my that is the worst.
