Oh, hi there. No I promise I have not forgotten you. This has just been one of those busy weeks where my creative energy is nonexistent. I promise I will be back soon, in all my hilarious glory. What’s that, you don’t think I am funny? Well who asked you anyway. I am the funniest person I know.
I moved into a new (temporary) office today. Really I haven’t had a real office since last July when my original office flooded. Some remodeling is finally being done to replace carpet, but in the meantime we were moved to a new building. A completely remodeled building. Basically I am chaining myself to the desk and refusing to ever leave. Moving was such a pain I don’t even want to think about doing it again in a month. Oh the best part, my new office use to be a hotel room so I have my own private bathroom! Pretty cool, right?
Besides moving, this has been the week of doctor’s appointments. B had one Monday and I had one Wednesday. Add the drive time and waiting room time and you are looking at almost six hours wasted just to see two doctors for 30 minutes.
If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook let me just say now, NO, I AM NOT PREGNANT. I have tweeted several times recently about trying to see the doctor. Since I AM NOT PREGNANT, my appointment kept getting bumped by women who were pregnant and going into labor. This happened twice in the last week alone. I finally got to see the doctor after 4 scheduled appointments and when I announced my joy on Twitter and Facebook I caused some confusion.
Some people took that innocent message to mean it took four tries to get pregnant. It is not secret that B and I are looking to start that chapter in our life, but it hasn’t happened yet. All day yesterday I was getting comments, emails and text messages out the wazoo. Sorry folks, I wish I had an announcement that exciting, but that isn’t the case yet. I promise to keep you posted. And quit talking about going to the doctor.

Our neck of the woods is absolutely frigid. You can see your breath 24 hours a day and there’s more snow coming. It’s a good old fashioned Michigan winter ’round these parts.
Wanna come play in the snow!? You and Brad can just fly in for the weekend!

) Hope the doc visit was fruitful, if nothing else. You know, full of internal exams and vials of blood. Perhaps some 70’s porn in a clinical room. You know, the good shit. *lol* (And yes, I’m just talking out of my ass, but I’ll stop now).
I would cut off my left foot for a private bathroom at work. At it took was a little flood, eh? I’m on it.
* Naturally Right does not recommend cutting of one’s foot or flooding work spaces in hopes of a private bathroom.

I love you Megs! Patience is a virture, and and all WONDERFUL LIFE EVENTS are worth waiting for!! Wow, a private bathroom, I don’t know that I would get much work done, but I would get some good reading done!!
