The blurry puppy (also Boomer Sooner!)

How was everyone’s weekend?  Mine was very active, yet very lazy.  B and I was puppy sitting since B takes no responsibility for my need to care for every dog out there.  Funny how a puppy can spend so much time sleeping, and yet you spent all your time chasing him around.

While Bark was staying at our house, I tried to get a few pictures of him.  Were you aware that puppies don’t sit still?  Somehow I had forgotten this key factor.  Trying to take a picture of a puppy without a flash in low light is about impossible.  I ended up with tons of these…

And a few of these…

And even more of these…

See the blurry thing in the lower right corner?  Yeah, that is the puppy.  The puppy who won’t stay still.  The puppy who liked to torment old man Servo.

Sidenote:  We discovered something interesting about Servo this weekend.  He only liked to play with Bark if it was outside.  I would watch those two take turns chasing each other around the backyard, but once we got inside Servo had a no touchy zone.  Servo acted like a big baby every time Bark even walked by.  Servo has personal space issues.  Meaning he demands you respect his, but he doesn’t care a thing about your own.

Finally after hours of playtime, I got this…

Little turd was smirking even in his sleep.

This is the one decent picture I got of Bark while he was awake…

It’s a good thing he is a cutie.

In other weekend news, Boomer Sooner!  OU will be playing in the National Championship game January 8.  Servo and I watched the Big 12 Championship Saturday night.  It was quite a game (if you are an OU fan!).

That would be Servo invading my personal space.  Don’t tell him he is not a lap dog, I think the news would crush him.

B and I put up Christmas lights, set up the Christmas tree and pulled out all our decorations.  I am almost finished so expect pictures on day this week!  Now that the house feels like Christmas, I am really ready to start cooking and shopping and singing carols!

How funny that he wouldn’t sit still long enough to be captured by a camera. What kind of puppy is Bark? He has the sweetest little face.

I would love to puppysit, but then I remember that we already have two dogs over here who can’t always grasp the concept of going to the bathroom outside and I think that our carpet cleaner gets enough use as it is.

I love that smirk when he is sleeping. Aren’t sleeping puppies the cutest, it almost makes you forget whta a pain in the ass they can be when they are awake.

p.s. you are a brave woman, two dogs is always a full house for me, whenever my sister brings her dog over its like just having that one extra dog causes chaos to ensue. this is why I will never get another dog while I still have maggie and sammy (they are enough for me)

Puppies can be such a hassle but they are so cute that you can’t help but love them. A cute doggie face can teach you patience.
