Can I tell you how good it feels to be in bed early on a Sunday night? Not only am I in bed early, I am in a bed with clean sheets. All the laundry is done, the dishwasher is running, the house is clean, I have new towels set out for the morning and I even picked out my clothes for work. New clothes too!
I felt so productive this weekend, even though I haven’t left the house since Friday night. B and I went grocery shopping then (great date night, don’t ya think?) and we have been holed up inside ever since.
We had friends over Saturday night for fondue. Yum.

Who needs to leave the house when you have food, friends and movies? I like my entertainment coming to me!
So what did you do this weekend? Are you ready for Monday? Maybe my week will go smoothly since I prepared for it this time.
Nah. I will probably still hate Monday come morning.

Sounds like a great weekend! Mmm fondue… I want’ to go to the Melting Pot now. Thanks!
I worked. All weekend. Closed all weekend in fact. And did homework. It was so much fun I couldn’t stand it.
Oh, but Matt and Drew and I went to a Cider Mill! That was fun.
And now I have Monday off!
sounds like a great weekend and I’ll have to agree with you that no matter what Mondays (today) will still probably suck.
I second Lauryn…mmmm fondue!! Yum. Okay, what did I do this weekend? Friday we stayed in, ate mac and cheese, and both Mario and I exercised (whoo hoo!) Saturday morning I worked on my paper for a conference this coming weekend, then Saturday afternoon I shopped and cooked dinner for 6 friends. I made two lasagnas–a seafood with white sauce and a turkey with red sauce–and a blueberry cobbler. We drank lotsa wine then walked it off Sunday morning at the Race for the Cure. Then, Sunday afternoon we went up to Tahoe to have dinner with my grandparents.
Whew. I didn’t get much done in terms of chores or schoolwork, but it was a productive weekend as far as having fun!
Oh man, your weekend sounded awesome. And I’m not being sarcastic. I too cleaned house this weekend, only to have it immediately trashed by Destructor. We too had friends over for dinner, but we didn’t have anything nearly as delicious as fondue. I’m insanely jealous and I too think it sucks that today is Monday.
Brian and I get the fondue craving every couple of months too (and between us and our friends we have like 6 fondue pots at least…that’s a lot of good cheese and chocolate!).
We have been having our friday date nights at the grocery store too. haha. Seriously though, it’s the time to go because most people have better things to do! Or during a Cowboys game; the store is empty then.
