TGIF.  A big fat TGIF.  This week has been dragging on and thanks to the gloomy skies I have been dragging ass all week.  I need some vitamin D and a red bull.  That should get me through another weekend of unpacking.

Also, happy summer!  Today is the first official day of summer.  I have mixed feelings about that.  While I love the idea of summer, I really hate the heat.  With all this humidity going outside has been unbearable.  Growing up I never went skiing, but I went to the mountains several summers in a row.  We had to do something to escape the summer heat in Texas.

And finally, according to some scientist, or maybe just someone who knows how to get rumors started, today is the happiest day of the year.  I am not feeling it.  Maybe my boss could let me go home early so I could start feeling the joy.  Come on five o’clock.  Let’s not drag this out any longer than we have to.
