Do you watch Jon & Kate plus 8? You absolute should, unless the idea of eight kids makes you want to hurl yourself off a bridge, then maybe the show isn’t for you. Me on the other hand, I am a big fan!
B and I have this long running joke about having twins. B wants them and is sure to tell everyone his thoughts about twins. I am not sold on the idea, but secretly I do think it would be neat. Lucky for B, the odds are in his favor, my Meemaw is a twin so if the whole generation skip is true, it would be my turn.
Moving on, that twin talk is starting to make me queasy.
Monday night, TLC was running a marathon of Jon & Kate plus 8. Of course, I was sucked in. B was in the other room and I kept running in during commercials to tell him the cutest things the kids were doing. After about the tenth report to B, he looked up at me and said, “Let’s have eight kids.” I squealed and said, “I was thinking the exact same thing! But we would have to get a Great Dane as well, how else could we top Jon and Kate.”
So there it is folks, the secret to success. If you want a reality tv show have eight kids, but don’t forget the twist. We plan on calling our show B & Megan plus 8 and a horse. Catchy no?
I would probably be one of those people who would run screaming into the night at the thought of 8 children. Actually, I would run screaming into the night at the thought of 1. I almost did that last weekend after spending 10 minutes with my niece! How about Brian & Kari and their 10 adopted dogs. I like the sound of that.
That is my plan B.
Oh yes that is my favorite show! I love Aiden! He is too too cute. Though I am not quite ready for eight kids, lol
Whoever leaves the channel on TLC when that show comes on, gets bitch slapped in my house. That show immediately makes the twitch in my right eye come back. AND I have to pop another pill just at the sight of all those kids.
Dear God! That is not a blessing. It’s a curse.

I do not enjoy kids but I am obsessed with this show… I laugh a lot at Kate… if you have 8 kids I will not babysit… I will, however, save Zoey and Servo from a life of being abused by your tribe of children.
Well, 8 is a nice even number! Megan, you definitely want to get to 8 with as many doubles as possible. Do you realize how long you would stay pregnant to have single births? Approximately 2,160 days. 51,840 hours, 3,110,400 minutes…that’s a long time to go without seeing your feet!
Did you hear recently about the woman who was having her 18th child??? Someone figured out that she had been pregnant for 11 years straight!
Hey there. I found your page through Crystal’s. I LOVE Jon and Kate Plus 8! Watching them makes me sooo glad we have only one destructive little boy. (Plus, I love watching Jon and Kate squabble - good clean fun!) On another note, we regularly babysit twin boys, and let me just say, no thank you. I cannot understand how anyone would want to have twins. They’re awesome kids, but they take a lot out of ya. Thanks for the read!
