If B had a nickel for every time I said that, well let’s just say he could quit playing the lottery.
I won our NCAA bracket challenge! I was the only person to pick Kansas to win, actually I think I was the only person to put in the Finals. Go me!
It got really interesting between B and I. He picked Memphis and I picked Kansas. The bracket pool at his work had no money involved, but since him and I were first and second place, we decided to make our own little bet. We do that often. The bet was $50 to spend on whatever you like. Guess I have some shopping to do today!
B and I aren’t very popular at his office today. Out of everyone who filled out a bracket, we were the only ones who don’t watch basketball. Not a lick. I only watched the last five minutes last night just to see who was getting the $50.
I think we should buy a lottery ticket today. Just to see how far our lucking guessing will get us! I better pick the powerball though, with my always being right, naturally.
I won too!! It’s almost like it’s better to not know anything about basketball because I think the serious fans put too much thought into their picks or something. I have now won two years in a row, and everyone I play against knows more than I do, so go figure! (I bet they hate me today!)
NICE JOB! I agree that you’d better test that luck out in another venue. Good things happen in threes, right? Oh wait, maybe that’s bad things. Never mind. Nice job though…do something fun with the winnings!
PS I did brackets last year, and I don’t watch basketball either, but I let my sister do the pickin’, and I didn’t win. Maybe I should have picked!
Oh, good call on french fries and frosties. Crap…now I am hungry too. I really try not to eat fast food but I’m going to be thinking about Wendy’s all day!!
