Oh. My. Goodness. I feel ya on the DP love! I have always had a sick, sick love for this lovely drink (although I admit in recent years I've made the switcharoo to diet.) My love addiction goes back to high school....I would try to quit during track or cross country season, and would tote around Lipsmackers Dr. Pepper chapstick. I also mostly laid off on all soda while prego with the Squidge, but now that's she's safely out I'm right back on it, and (hope you don't think this is sacrilege) kinda having a fetish for the berries 'n cream varieties.

I'm intrigued... I'll have to try some cane sugar pop.

I'm actually familiar with the whole southern "coke" thing! Crazy! So northerners call it pop, easterners call it soda, and y'all call it coke. What do the westerners call it?

Nice pictures! :)

I get all the "coke" references. Yay for living in the south.

I don't drink coke (unless there is rum or whiskey in it) but I do find myself more willing to partake if I know it's a cane sugar variety.

I gave up soda years ago, but in college my roomate and I would indulge a couple of times in a Dr. Pepper from this one particular Sonic because for some reason their DP was truly like Nectar from the Gods (maybe they used Pure Cane Sugar?). But then that location closed, and we were pissed because I swear it just wasn't as good at any other location.

My beverage of choice these days is an unsweetened iced tea, no lemon, with 2 sweet-n-lows (because I prefer the artificial sweetener to the corn syrup places put in their sweet tea). It's just perfect!

And sometimes Root Beer, but only if it's homemade (like at Twisted Root Burger Co. MMMMMM...)
