The EmilyPie Photo Challenge

Spring is here,
Theeeee sky is blue.
Whoa, whoa-oooo!
Birds all sing,
As if they knew…

This week’s challenge is something I am sure most of us are very excited about… SPRING! (Sorry to those who are stuck in the arctic.) I haven’t actually started my spring planting and our yard is still pretty brown, so I had to borrow some flowers. Unfortunately, the university hasn’t planted the big to-do in the ovals yet. I will have to revisit this when they do. I love it when the flowers come out! Last year they did a special planting for Oklahoma’s Centennial.

How cool is that!

I did find a few lone flowers outside my office.

I wasn’t kidding when I said lone.

We do have a fabulous Bradford Pear tree in the front yard. I love Bradford Pears. Our neighborhood has tons and they all bloom at the same time! When I win the lottery I want to line my driveway with these.

I love the bright blue sky peaking through. It really makes you feel like spring really has arrived!

I wonder if the weather is going to be nice this weekend… I have a $100 Lowe’s giftcard burning a hole in my pocket. I love spring!

Be sure to check out all the other great spring pictures over at EmilyPie!

Arctic? Try INDIANA. Gah, I loathe this state. I truly believe flowers don’t exist anymore.
