I am finally getting around to posting these pictures. Zoey is a pretty patient when it comes to entertaining her mom’s silly ideas. Plus she knew she would get to eat the pretzels at the end of the photo shoot.
She starts out a little hesitant.
Mom, I don’t want you taking my picture. Get this stupid pretzel out of my mouth!
Fine Mom, take your pictures. I know you just want to post them on the internet.
Alright Mom, we are done. Sleep with one eye open tonight!
I think she was channeling a walrus in the last picture. Can you see the resemblance?
Don’t worry, Zoey has already forgiven me. She was heavily rewarded with pretzels.
How did you get her to cooperate like that?? If Ellie could understand me, she would laugh in my face if I said to her “Ellie, I’m going to put these pretzles in your mouth but you can’t eat them until I tell you it’s ok.” And then she’d steal the entire bag of pretzles and probably even eat the plastic. She’s “special.”

I have often tried the same principle with Potato Head parts and my cats but they refuse to hold them!
