I am shocked, awed and humbled at the number of friends who are coming out to walk with us in April! Team Sagowitz has already collect 50 percent of its donation goal and that’s without even trying. There is still plenty of time to sign up if you are interested. I will probably pester some of you as April gets closer. No, I am not looking at you. Or you, though I know distance is an issue. I will give you some slack, but doesn’t mean I can’t be a pest!
Thank you to everyone who is walking with us in person or in spirit!

I am trying a new recipe tonight. Southern “fried ” chicken and garlic mashed potatoes. Sounds like good Friday night comfort food, right? Both are weight watchers recipes, hence the “fried” part. The chicken is actually rolled in crushed corn flakes and then baked. If it turns out well, I will post the recipe later, maybe even with pictures!

B and I are super psyched about our weekend. We have nothing to do!! Seems like this is the first weekend since Christmas that we have no house projects, parties or places to be. I do have some work to catch up on so I will be reading graduate student’s papers most of the weekend. (That makes me sound scholarly, doesn’t it? I like it!)
I hope everyone has a great weekend planned. Looks like it is going to be pretty cold around here. Good thing I am not planning on leaving the house!

I noticed you said that it was going to be pretty cold there this weekend. Hopefully the temperature here doesn’t drop again too, because it’s a whopping 37 degrees today and it feels like summer compared to what it’s been… you can walk around without a coat on it feels so good
Corn flakes sounds interesting… I’m curious to see how that turns out.
Your weekend sounds wonderful. Have fun doing nothing!
