As some of you know, B has multiple sclerosis. He was diagnosed December 1998, almost ten years ago. While it has been a mild and, for the most part, healthy ten years, B and I hope every day that a cure is found.

B and I will doing the MS Walk again this year. Last year was our first time to walk. We had a great time, even though the last mile was slightly uphill and in the wind. My parents, brother and his then girlfriend (now wife!) came up and walked with us. It was a great weekend!

This year the walk is going to be at the zoo! I can’t tell you how excited I am about this. B and I do a diabetes walk every summer at the zoo and it is always a great time! For some reason, leisurely walking around looking at animals doesn’t feel like you are doing a 3K.
