Crap. Crappity, crap, crap. The stupid spam bots found me. My blog was hacked over the weekend. I have gotten random spam comments or user registrations in the past, but this time it was hacking extreme. The spam bot posted all my emails in my blog. Luckily my husband caught it early and there was nothing besides all the spam email I receive.
So now I am armed and ready with new passwords and a spam filter. I also created a new email address to be used for the blog alone. Let’s hope this works.
Hey Wordpress users, what kind of protects have you put on your blog to keep this from happening? Any tips would be appreciated.
